One effective way to improve inventory process in retaurants

I use transparent/see-through containers in all my storage when possible. Beside labeling everything properly, I think this is one of the best way to speed inventory process while keeping mistakes to a minimum. Just thought I'd share this tip and find out what other things you operators are doing in inventory.
