Hi all,
I'd like to get some ideas about the most effective way to respond to negative or not-so-positive reviews or feedback on Yelp, Google or various other online restaurant review sites. Regardless of how people feel about Yelp, I regularly read Yelp reviews to hopefully learn a thing or two. Oftentimes when a customer leaves a negative review, a restaurant owner/manager invariably replies with something like this:
Thank you so much for your feedback. We apologize that you were not happy with your experience. We strive to improve with feedback from valuable customers like you. We will make sure the items you mentioned get addressed. Thank you for stopping by and we hope to see you again soon!
To me this is really annoying because it's not saying much, plus who knows if the problem is actually getting fixed.
